It gives them the sense that you’ll always be there to catch them even when they do wrong things. They get comfortable with it knowing you’ll forgive them quickly and easily thus letting them repeat it over and over again which will soon become the reason for everything within the downfall.

You know what pisses me off the most? No matter how angry I am at you, all you have to do is smile & it all goes away.
